I wouldn’t consider myself especially girly, but I enjoy my fair share of all things pink. It just so happens that some of my favourite beauty products from over the last couple of months have this gorgeous feminine hue in common. I don’t write beauty posts very often, but it’s nice to switch things up every now and again, so today, I thought I’d share the bits and bobs I’ve been loving recently.

VICHY DOUBLE GLOW PEEL MASK
First up is my favourite mask to use when my skin is looking dull or feeling rough. The Double Glow Peel Mask by Vichy* is enriched with exfoliating volcanic rock, AHAs and thermal spa water for a skin treat. I apply a thin layer to my face for no longer than ten minutes before buffing the exfoliating particles into my skin as I rinse. It’s not a typical mask in that it’s lightweight and isn’t on the face long enough to dry, but it leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth and renewed when used once a fortnight.
CLINIQUE ALL ABOUT EYES SERUM DE-PUFFING EYE MASSAGE
Next up is a product that I never expected to love. The Clinique All About Eyes Serum De-Puffing Eye Massage* (a typically long product name from Clinique!) is a roller ball serum which targets dark circles and puffy morning eyes. While I don’t have a particular problem with either of those issues, this nifty little tube solves all of my troubles on sleepier days. The combination of the cooling roller ball with the refreshing serum formulated with caffeine and antioxidants is potent!
CLINIQUE MOISTURE SURGE EXTENDED THIRST RELIEF
Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief* is a product that has been on my wishlist for years, but I’ve relied on dupes and cheaper alternatives instead of taking the plunge. For that reason, I was thrilled to receive this as a little gift from my mum last month! I’ve been as impressed with this moisturiser as I expected, as I always tend to prefer gel formulas over creams. It sinks into the skin really quickly, making it perfect for my combination skin.
L’ORÉAL COLOR RICHE MATTE ADDICTION IN 103 BLUSH IN A RUSH
The L’Oréal Color Riche lipsticks* have been my favourites for the longest time, so I’m always pleased when they release new collections, and I was really intrigued by what the new Matte Addiction collection had to offer. Though there’s no noticeable difference in the formula from the last matte range (it’s as moisturising as ever), this new collection offers an absolutely stunning range of colours, and 103 Blush in a Rush has been my go-to spring lipstick over the last month.
SOAP & GLORY FLAKE AWAY BODY POLISH
I’m actually very late to the Soap & Glory bath and body range, as I always chose cheaper alternatives in the past. However, after receiving a gift hamper for Christmas, I can see what I’ve been missing out on. I suffer with the dreaded keratosis pilaris, and no other body scrub I’ve tried leaves my arms feeling as soft and smooth as the Soap & Glory Flake Away Body Polish.* Not only is it effective, but it’s also scented with that signature fruity Soap & Glory scent, Original Pink, making it a delicious treat for the shower.
NARS ILLUMINATOR IN ORGASM
I mentioned the Nars Illuminator in Orgasm* in my last beauty favourites post, as it’s made a regular appearance in my recent make-up routine. This liquid highlighter leaves a subtle rose-tinted sheen on the skin, recreating that healthy post-gym glow that I definitely don’t have. I like to mix it with my foundation or tinted moisturiser for an added boost that lasts all day, and its lightweight formula makes it perfect for day wear during spring. It’s very natural and works beautifully with a peachy pink blush.
PAUL & JOE NAIL POLISH IN 01 VANILLA MERINGUE
I received the Paul & Joe Nail Polish in Vanilla Meringue* months ago upon finishing my internship at Marie Claire. However, this delicate pink shade didn’t seem right for winter, so I’ve held off using it until now. Because the colour is light, it acts almost like a top coat, so you’ll need a few coats to get a smooth coverage. However, once dried, it will remain chip and crack free for around four days. Bonus points for the delicious cotton candy scent!
TONYMOLY I’M REAL SHEET MASK
And finally, a favourite I’ve mentioned before. However, the Tonymoly I’m Real Sheet Masks* are holy grail products when I’m having a bad skin day, so I couldn’t resist telling you about them again! Technically, they’re not all pink, and I don’t have a particular preference out of their many varieties, but I haven’t been disappointed with a single one. They’re incredibly moisturising and made my university deadlines much easier on my tired and aggravated skin. Top tip: buy in bulk from Amazon to save the dolla!
