Slogan T-shirts are a great way to add a bit of spice and colour to an outfit, and that might explain why they’re everywhere right now. However, some of the slogans I’ve seen are questionable to say the least, veering a little too far into virtue signalling territory for my liking! I like my slogan tees simple but bold, with a no nonsense statement slapped across the chest. There are some really great offerings which fit this description available for every budget at the moment, so I thought I’d choose five of my favourites and round them up into a little post for you! Let’s start with the beauty I’m wearing.

TEE & CAKE AT TOPSHOP
In case you haven’t noticed, I’m loving adding touches of red to my outfits at the moment, and the simple but sassy slogan on this grey tee from Tee & Cake at Topshop does the job perfectly. If you were unsure, ‘ferme la bouche’ essentially means ‘shut up’ in French so it’s a little bit rude, but obscure enough to get away with!
Hush is a brand I’m relatively new to, but they’re great for high quality basics and stylish everyday items, so I had to include one of their slogan tees in this post. This white T-shirt features more of my beloved red, but this time, it says ‘Happy Days’ which is a lot friendlier! If you ask me, you can’t go wrong with a white and red mix, but maybe that’s just years of Coca-Cola’s marketing rubbing off on me…
For those of you who like to invest in your basics, Bella Freud have loads of gorgeous slogan tees available at the moment. In fact, I really struggled choosing just one! However, this baby pink offering with a simple ‘HER’ across the chest won me over in the end. I adore the graphic pencil slogan and its 100% cotton composition will mean it’ll be wearable all summer long.
Lazy Oaf are the go-to brand for quirky prints and slogans, and this T-shirt is no different. Not only does the slogan sum up how I feel in almost every social situation, but this offering is cropped with a high neck and slightly longer sleeves, making it the most stand-out of the tees in this post. Style with mom jeans and sneakers for that ‘cool girl’ look.
Finally, this grey number from Boohoo features some gorgeous appliqué details over its ‘LOVER’ slogan. It’s a bit more colourful, but at a fraction of the price of some of the other T-shirts in this post, and it also comes in white if that’s more your thing. Did I mention the awesome ruffle details to the back, too?
